CHALK ONE UP for US intelligence (and in this case, also our sometimes allies in Pakistan's ISI...): An Al Qaeda plan, nearing the operational stage, to fly an airplane into the U.S. consulate in Karachi has just been broken up, as the US follows up on information gained from interrogating the six Al Qaeda members arrested earlier this week in Karachi. Among the crazed killers now off the street: Tawfiq bin Attash (considered the planner of the October 2000 bombing of the USS Cole) and Ali Abd Aziz (believed to be the paymaster of the September 11 attacks, and the nephew of Khalid "Best Picture" Sheik Mohammed).
