DON'T BURP OUT LOUD WHEN YOU'RE LIVE ON THE BBC: Let me give you some advice. If you're going to be doing live radio, don't drink a bottle of soda right before it's time to go on the air.

I was sitting there in the studio, with a bubble of air trapped in my throat. I kept trying and trying to push it up and out before the interview began, but it just didn't work. So I went ahead and did the interview. And I got lucky. Nothing bad happened. But next time, I'll know better.
