You should reconsider. The real-time approach employed by Greengrass ensures that the film does not linger on the most painful moments. The truly difficult part of the movie, I found, is being confronted with the 'what would you do?' and the realization that this is a question we continue to face in our ongoing war against Islamic fundamentalism. United 93 is not "entertainment" -- it's better to watch on a weeknight than on a fun night, for sure. But particularly for someone who spends as much time thinking about the big-picture problems of this war and the world as you do, you will regret missing the opportunity to join with a theater of strangers and witness again the mix of bravery and confusion that is the story of United 93.
