It's difficult for me to understand the thought processes of someone who buys food because it's "organic" or "natural" when decades of analysis have shown that such food tastes no different from "regular" food, is priced much higher and is much more vulnerable to spoilage and infestation. I have no problem with people spending as much as they want on food that tastes better to them, but this foodie elitism based only on status is just as despicable as buying the biggest SUV on the block not because you like it but because other people will envy you.
