A delegation of senior Middle Eastern leaders has travelled to Sudan to express international support for Omar al-Bashir, the Sudanese president, who is accused of war crimes in Darfur.Don't forget that the victims of Bashir's genocide in Sudan are Muslims. A potent reminder of just how cynical jihadi terrorists and their sponsors are when it comes to taking the lives of innocent civilians. They will use civilians as human shields in Gaza, denounce Israel for war crimes, then rush to Sudan to show solidarity with its genocidal president. For a look at the strategic implications of Bashir's indictment for war crimes, I highly recommend this essay by Peter Pham of James Madison University.
